Corporate ERT Members
Emergency Response Team (ERT) members are a cross trained, multi-functional, select group of employees who render aid and assistance during workplace emergencies. These ERT individuals act to maximize life safety and minimize damage to the individuals until ambulances and fire trucks arrive on scene.
HeartReady recommends companies to offer ERT training classes every 5-6 weeks until the core 8 classes are completed. From there, we recommend quarterly skills scenario-based training exercises so your team is ready to respond to critical emergencies.
